Overview
Peressini is an Italian company operating worldwide, specializing in the design and production of chairs and stools for the home, office, contract, and ho.re.ca markets. The company allows the creation of custom-made chairs with no restrictions in terms of material, shape, color, and quantity, which fit perfectly into any environment or furnishing style.
Meetings with the client revealed the need to reposition the company in a higher market segment by clarifying its real objectives and internal policies in order to transform the company in the long term from a subcontractor to a real brand.
The Concept
Adaptability and flexibility are the brand’s distinguishing features. “Seating my way” is a powerful element of verbal recognition and at the same time the central concept around which the entire rebranding operation revolves, as it immediately communicates the entire brand philosophy and positioning choices.
Brand Strategy
For a company like Peressini, communication is vital to speak and get noticed in highly competitive and heterogeneous international markets.
The first phase, dedicated to the brand strategy, helped us to outline the essence and values of the brand and to build a solid positioning strategy based on an analysis of the market, the competitors, and Peressini’s target audience.
Visual Identity
A design brand like Peressini, whose products are themselves design objects, needs a minimalist and functional communication language capable of expressing the general mood of the brand, without taking space and visibility away from the product, the real protagonist of the story.
The product catalog received DesignRush’s prestigious award in the category of “The Best Catalog Print Designs”.
We focused on detail and simplification as guidelines for the creative process. Simplify to clarify with the goal of preventing design from distracting from the message and style from prevailing over substance. The design serves the message and reinforces it with discretion and concreteness.
Creative Direction
Creative and strategic choices to make the concept tangible included the decision to create an interactive configurator where anyone could create their own customized seat in a few clicks: seating my way.
