Brand identity

Dolomwood is an artisan company in the foothills of the Dolomites that designs and manufactures furniture from reclaimed antique wood.
We were responsible for the development of the entire brand narrative in order to express the values and quality offered by the company.

We worked on a contemporary language to find the original voice of the brand, telling through the eyes of the two craftsmen the process that starts from the most instinctive choice of the materials to the most rational and creative realization of the final product.

Goals

To meet the client’s aim of positioning itself in a market segment between traditional artisan companies and more industrial entities, we developed an identity that goes beyond the conventional definition of craftsmanship.

The primary goal of the brand identity is to present Dolomwood as a professional company that combines the meticulousness and dedication of an artisan with the use of technology to achieve optimal precision and efficiency.

Visual Identity

The visual identity best expresses the characteristics of the brand: wood, warmth, luxury, aesthetic sense, and precision are re-coded and evoked in the user by the careful choice of colors, typography, and materials used in the development of the corporate image and brochure.

For the cover, we chose embossed paper which reproduces a 3D pattern that feels like the natural texture of wood. To highlight the concepts of luxury and exclusivity, the logo was hot-foil applied in bronze.

Photography

We were responsible for the concept and production of the photo shoot. The low-key photo styling emphasizes the warm and intimate tones of the workshop, even when talking about technology.

The purpose of interior photography is to enhance the quality of the work through precise and targeted lighting, while at the same time conveying a sense of comfort and aesthetic taste.

Web Design

For Dolomwood’s online presence, we adopted a clean, minimalist design that leaves just the right amount of space for images and brand storytelling. The website was designed in Italian and English to allow Dolomwood to reach its potential audience across borders, especially in the Austrian, German, Swiss, and Slovenian regions.
