Overview
Tinderbox, a sub-brand of Space1999 –a well-known leader in the music wholesale distribution sector– is a retail music distribution and retailing brand dedicated to helping music lovers improve the quality of their spare time with a 360-degree music selection, featuring essential works and the best artists in every genre and sub-genre.
The idea is that music can be sold in other contexts, not exclusively in record stores. Tinderbox sells not only the medium of music but the value of a quality selection that fits the context in which it is offered.
With this concept in mind, we developed a brand narrative that re-introduces audiences back to fall in love with physical spaces and media.
Verbal Identity
“We have the feeling” is the claim which expresses Tinderbox’s passion for music and quality offers. A feeling that also unites the community of music lovers.
Visual Identity
The brand’s main target audience is a young, youthful crowd with a good sense of originality and sophisticated taste. POP culture and minimalism inspired us to create a versatile visual identity that could be kaleidoscopic yet balanced, conveying style, charm, and energy in line with the brand’s personality.
