Overview
Graphica was founded in 1996 as a digital printing service centre. Over the years, the company has improved and expanded its services in the field of visual communication and gradually increased the quality of its products. Consequently, Graphica needed to keep up with the times in order to attract a wider audience and a more important clientele.
Creative Direction
We developed a strategic and creative plan specifically designed to meet the company’s repositioning objectives. Our first steps in the process included creating a new verbal identity and defining the most appropriate tone of voice.
To effectively communicate the value proposition, we made strategic decisions that involved both digital and traditional channels.
This included redesigning the website to ensure it accurately reflected the company’s new direction. We also created an original corporate brochure that effectively communicated Graphica’s unique offering.
Visual Identity
As part of the repositioning process, the company’s visual identity needed to be refreshed. We focused on elevating the brand and updating its visual appeal while retaining the essence of its previous 20-year corporate image.
To achieve this, we redesigned the logotype to match current visual standards. We aimed to maintain the continuity of the brand while enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The new logotype design reflects the updated direction of the company while maintaining its core essence.
We also chose a contemporary typeface – Inter, which was specifically designed to be easily read on different screen sizes.
Editorial Design
We designed the six-fold 16×16 cm brochure, printed in five colors plus drip-off varnish on 300 gsm matte-coated paper and silver gloss laminated.
The silver lamination adds a nice shiny metallic effect, while the drip-off print used to achieve the matte effect creates an interesting play of light and backlight. The application of the 2mm compressed polystyrene logo to the first and last covers produces a three-dimensional, textured effect.
Web Design
We completely redesigned the website to properly express Graphica’s value proposition. The site becomes the showcase of the company’s expertise, paying the highest attention to user experience without ever forgetting the design.
