Challenge

Peressini is an Italian company with an international reach, specializing in the design and production of chairs and stools for every kind of setting, from the home to the office, through to contract and Ho.Re.Ca. It is a broad, layered offering that, until then, had only one place to tell its story: the website. At a moment of consolidation and expansion into new markets and new clients, the company needed a way to introduce itself to partners and customers with clarity and the right measure of authority, one that could convey its true scale. That is when Peressini turned to us with a precise brief: to shape a company profile that would tell the story with a depth the website alone could not offer.

Thinking

A website is a landscape the reader crosses freely, which is exactly why information rarely unfolds in a straight line. An editorial object works differently: it lets you decide the order in which a company reveals itself, and build a sequence in which each chapter opens onto the next. That became our direction. We approached the profile as a guided narrative, where understanding the offer comes from how the information is arranged, even before what it says. We devised the narrative structure and the reading sequence, then entrusted its voice to a minimalist, modernist style: few things, in order, with just enough space for each one to be read.

Outcome

The company profile is a 90-page volume, designed for both print and digital, and published in five languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish and Russian. A rigorous grid sets the rhythm between text and image, while a restrained typography keeps the reading clear as the book moves from one language to the next. The premium editorial design leads the reader chapter by chapter without ever weighing down the page. Alongside creative direction, we took on the art direction: layout, imagery and materials were chosen together, and we oversaw the art direction and production of the more conceptual, design-led images, leaving product photography to its own specific role. The result answers the original brief: an object that informs and, in the same gesture, positions.

Impact

Peressini now has a tool that strengthens its positioning while telling the company's story in a way that is engaging, orderly and easy to grasp. The profile simplifies conversations with clients and suppliers and makes it easier to introduce the company to new customers and new markets. It is an editorial language worthy of the industry's leaders, standing beside the website as a linear, complete account.
